What is safeguarding?

All of the adults in school think that your physical health, mental health, safety and welfare are very important.

In our school we respect children and help to protect their rights.

We always do our best to help children make good progress in their learning.

We teach children how to recognise risk in different situations, how to protect themselves and stay safe.

How we protect children.

We provide a safe environment for our children to learn in.

We want children to remain safe at home as well as in school so we work as a team with families and other professionals to ensure this.

We think it is very important children know where and how to get help if they are worried, unhappy or do not feel safe.

Need to talk?

You can talk to any member of staff in school as it is their job to make sure everyone feels safe and happy.
